The 2020 award season has finally wrapped with the most coveted award ceremony of the year. The Academy Awards held on February 9th saw some predictable wins and some monumental achievements (as well as a very out-of-place surprise performance by Eminem). Bong Joon-ho's Parasite took home the most awards including two major category awards with Best Director and Best Picture. The South Korean film has officially etched its place in film history by being the first international film to win Best Picture.
